Blindness control policy has been implemented in the state on the instructions of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. first time in the country The Blindness Control Policy has been implemented by the Government of Rajasthan with the objective of 'Right to Sight Vision'. This policy has been brought with the aim of bringing light to the lives of more than three lakh visually impaired people in the state. The blindness prevalence rate in the country in the year 2020 was 1.1 percent, Which will be worked towards bringing it up to 0.3 percent through Right to Sight Vision Policy.
